With the extensive use of modern information technology in education and teaching,new ways of teaching and learning have emerged,which has greatly changed the teaching and learning process of schools.Micro-curriculum is a new way of teaching and learning that adapts to the application of information technology in school education and teaching.The Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Education issued the “13th Five-Year Plan” for the development of education informatization in Guangdong Province.The plan clearly stated that information construction should be integrated into teaching management.At present,some higher vocational colleges in Guangdong province have launched micro-video teaching models,applied micro-videos to teaching,established specialized teaching staff to manage the application of micro-video teaching methods,and clarified the micro-video teaching method management program and applied them to their applications.Evaluation analysis,in order to better apply the micro-video teaching method to teaching.At present,higher vocational colleges also widely use micro lessons in the teaching and learning of various courses.However,the effective use of micro-curriculum must be done well in the construction of micro-curriculum,form a systematic micro-teaching resources,and promote effective use of teachers in teaching practice in order to receive the desired results.Micro-curriculum construction is to design and create systematic micro-classes for schools and teachers according to the teaching needs of teaching subjects,and to use micro-classes in the teaching process to meet the needs of the entire teaching needs.Therefore,the construction of micro-curriculum may be a comprehensive system of micro-curriculum creation activities for all teaching subjects suitablefor the use of micro-curriculum,or it may be a process of creating a systematic micro-course system suitable for teaching needs in a certain teaching subject.Micro-curriculum construction management means that the school-related teaching and management department manages the entire process of micro-curriculum construction,including the resources needed for the rational configuration of micro-curricular construction,as well as the design and inspection of the entire micro-curricular construction.This article mainly discusses the management of English micro-curriculum construction in higher vocational colleges,including the management of micro-curricular planning,resource supply,teacher resources,implementation process and evaluation analysis process.This article mainly uses the foreign language department of Guangzhou HN College as a specific case.It adopts questionnaire survey,interviews,and literature research methods to analyze and analyze the management of English micro-curriculum construction in higher vocational colleges.Problems in the application of English teaching in colleges and universities and the construction strategy to promote the application of micro-teaching in English teaching in higher vocational colleges and improve the management level of micro-curriculum construction.The management of the construction of English micro-courses in higher vocational colleges should be done well in the following aspects.Firstly,the plan for the management of the micro-courses construction should be made clear,special organization personnel should be identified for micro-courses application project management,and the development goals and specific implementation plan of micro-courses should be determined,so as to ensure that the micro-courses can be carried out according to the relevant planning programs.Secondly,resource base for micro-courses construction should be completed,including learning resources related to micro-courses construction and capital and hardware facilities.Thirdly,for the construction of the micro-courses,the faculties should be fully equipped,and the training of teachers should be increased,so that teachers can master the skills of micro-courses teaching,improve the quality of the micro-video recording.That will provide the basis for the application of the teaching method for the micro-courses teaching.Fourthly,the management of the usage of micro-courses should be strengthened,the frequency of teachers' micro-courses should be increased to take teaching effects of the micro-courses.Fifthly,the supervision and evaluation of the construction of the micro-coursesshould be strengthened,the application management of the micro-courses should be evaluated,and the shortcomings should be found out,then be improved.In the process of the management of the construction of the micro-courses,it can be managed from different stages,such as the planning link of the construction of micro-courses,the link of preparation,the link of use,and the evaluation link,so as to improve the effect of the construction of English micro-courses and improve the teaching level of English in higher vocational colleges.
