As the rapid development of Internet,Internet technology and the upgrading of mobile terminals,great changes have taken place in our daily life.At the same time,all the changes have provided opportunities and challenges for education's development.As an emerging digital learning resource,micro-lecture has had a great influence on the processes of teachers' teaching and students' learning.Although teachers have done various application researches in elementary education and higher education,some teachers in vocational schools seldom do it,especially in the design and application of graphic design courses teaching in higher vocational schools,so the author chose this subject for research.In this study,the present state at home and abroad of micro-lecture research is generalized at first.This paper expounds of four theoretical foundations of micro-lecture design and application,namely the Micro Learning Theory,Mastery Learning Theory,Constructivism Learning Theory and Blended Learning Theory.Secondly,in order to understand the current teaching status of graphic design class in higher vocational schools,Through reviewing the literature and the way of conducting interviews with relevant professional teachers,the author has learned the problems existing in the course teaching of graphic design in higher vocational schools and summarized the concrete teaching reform measures,and put forward the idea of application of micro-lecture in graphic design courses of higher vocational schools.On this basis,the author summarizes the principles and procedures for the design of micro-lecture,the main forms of micro-lecture production,the key points in the design and production of micro-lecture of graphic design courses in higher vocational school.Taking the two courses of Photoshop and Flash as an example,according to the actual teaching,the author chooses the relevant content of the two courses to design and make micro-lectures,and then the finished products will be applied to the teaching practices.The author enumerates two micro-lecture cases,shows the design processes of micro-lecture in detail,and explains their applications in teaching.This paper mainly introduces the applications of micro-lecture in the phase of preview before class.Then,the author analyzes and investigates the application effects.It is found that the use of micro-lecture teaching resources in the teaching of graphic design courses in higher vocational schools can effectively promote students'autonomous Iearning.The micro-lecture plays an important role in improving the teaching quality of graphic design courses in higher vocational schools.These provide some references for the design and application of micro-lecture in other computer science courses in higher vocational schools.Finally,the author summarizes the results and deficiencies in this research,and clarifies the future research direction.
