The Expression Of Antiques In The Creation Of Flower-and-Bird Painting

The shape,motif,and inscription of antiques all indicate profound cultural meanings.Many ancient painters have never ceased to explore antiques,especially the antiques in the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties in the creation of painting.This paper focuses on introducing the historical process of which the antiques are painted in drawings,and analyzing the influences of appearance and prosperity of antiques in flower-and-bird paintings.The author selected the flower-and-bird painting of antiques of Chen Hongshou,Wu Changshuo and Huang Mufu to analyze the diversity.Under the condition of keeping the shape of antiques unchanged,it aims to deliver a new form that the ancient ideas and modern styles are integrated through the motifs on the surface of antiques replacing by classical lines of calligraphy.Antiques are not only the source of force and power in the painting,but also a role of scenes expression and spirits communication in flower-and-bird painting of antiques where animals are included.This paper attempts to study the forms,styles and characteristics of historical flower-and-bird paintings of antiques from multiple angles,and absorb predecessors'experience in creating the flower-and-bird painting of antiques,so as to obtain a variety of expressions of antiques in the flower-and-bird paintings of antiques.
