Mythological Narrative Study Of Marvel Movie"Superheroes"

As one of the most influential films in Marvel movie,Marvel Cinematic Universe plans to become the most influential movie series in the Marvel movies.Through in-depth image building,rich production experience,disruptive technology elements and substantial market returns,filmmakers actually study the subject and also caused my extremely interest.Therefore from the angle of myth,demonstrating the 16 films of Marvel Cinematic Universe is the focus of my dissertation.Through the method of textual reading and literature analysis,this research will analyze the related films rationally,rationally and practically,with a view to achieving the following goals through this analysis.In the theoretical construction,it will disseminate the mainstream culture.In reality,it will hard to create our brand.In the creative experience aspect,it aims to create art boutique in the industrial development and the marketing world vision.For the above purpose,it could be implemented.These theses will be divided into five chapters.Chapter One: Introduction.It mainly illustrates the reasons,methods,purposes,innovations and ideas of the works of Marvel Cinematic Universe,as well as the influential literatures on the research of Marvel movies at home and abroad.Chapter Two: Theoretical support,the characteristics and significance of mythical narratives.There are many mythological narrative genres.Among them,the representative of the mythological school of history,Fraser,can best explain Marvel's movie: “Mythology symbolizes the narrative image and expresses the basic value of a nation or a culture.” This narrative is characterized by: The construction of the imagination,the imagination of space-time crossing,and the influence of cultural hegemony enabled people to carry out authentic and sacred worship of the mythological world on the basis of beliefs.So on the surface of myth narrative,it starts with fantastic stories and twists and turns of the plot,focusing on the deep structure.It is not a literary work,but a discourse closely related to politics,economy and science and technology.Therefore,the ancient Greek mythologist Eusemaras pointed out in his book ?The History of God? that Mythology is not a secret philosophy,but a filtered history.It was also published by the French ideologist Roland Bart in 1957 Mythology emphasizes that mass culture operates very much like mythology,cultural work previously done by God and the epic-teaching citizens their social values and providing a common language-has now become a work for movie stars and advertisers.It is the above thought that it is most appropriate and necessary to carry out the research on the historical narrative of mythology in the Marvel Cinematic Universe plans.Chapter Three: the performance of the narrative of the myth of Marvel Cinematic Universe.In this chapter,it states three aspects.Firstly the Mythical Role,through the miraculous birth of the superhero,the divine power and the display of divine nature,it will convey the determination of the United States as a superhuman nation,its magical nationhood,rapid development and divine status,which is inseparable with its technology and military.Secondly the Mythological Plot,time and space weaving in the psychological joy of causal orgy,mystery and fantasy of the game maze,drama reversal of the dangers,reshape the mythical influence of the United States rebirth after bathing out of political,economic crisis.Thirdly the Mythical Spirit,through the promotion of a series of universal values,such as the inheritance of cultural traditions,the persistence of religious beliefs and the safeguard of the American spirit,cultural hegemony has fabulously captured the new generation of forces from generation to generation.Chapter Four: Enlightenment from Narrative of Marvel Cinematic Universe Myth.On one hand,from the Perspective of Meaning,it has four parts:1.The Spiritual Totem shows the praise of hero complex;2.The Country Call shows the ambition of American conquest;3.The Brand Strategy shows the ideas of film industrial management;4.The Scientific and Technological Strength shows that capture of visual impact which is a spiritual building built by Marvel Cinematic Universe.On the other hand,from the perspective of limitation,the violent tendency of black elements,the dominance of muscle worship,the construction of ideological utopia and the one-sided manifestation of human feelings are the problems that must be overcome in the future by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.Chapter Five: Conclusion.Explore the future development of Chinese film from the aspects of developing science fiction types,supporting policy funds and developing Chinese elements.The innovation of this paper is analyzing the remarkable works of Marvel Cinematic Universe from the perspective of myth historical narrative.In the book “The History of God”,the ancient Greek mythology writer Exceedamas stated: “Mythology is not a mystic philosophy,but a filtered history.” The narrative is characterized by the construction of superheroes and the imagination of time and space crossing which allows people to carry out the authenticity and sacred worship of the world depicted in mythology on the basis of beliefs,meanwhile uses this mythical American history to construct the hegemonic position of American culture.Through these measures,it distinguishes itself from mythological archetypes in search of human psychological structure and collective sub-consciousness.
