Cultural Choice And Economic Analysis Of A Theme Hotel In Hancheng

The theme hotel has sprang up abroad.As a new concept of hotel management,it has brought a good opportunity for the growth of the domestic hotel industry.Under the influence of economic conditions and consumption level,the development of domestic theme hotel mainly concentrates on the coastal and other cities which developed well and have the higher hotel consumption.During these few years,according to the development and operation,the trend.of development of domestic theme hotel is pretty well,With the diversified development of theme hotels,theme hotels must improve their competitiveness in the market through the excavation of characteristic culture and the segmentation of tourism market,and ensure the sustainable and healthy development of theme hotels.Hancheng is an important industrial city in Shaanxi province,and has a unique historical and cultural resources.In recent years,Hancheng government pay much attention to develop tourism,facilities of tourism have improved much more than before,but compared with the fact,there do not have the theme hotel which reflect the local regional cultural characteristics.Through extensive reading of relevant literature,this paper summarizes the research status and domestic research status of theme hotels abroad,expounds the local regional culture of Hancheng,sums up five characteristics of Hancheng culture,based on ancient architecture,Yellow River resources,historical tradition,plowing and Sima Qian.This paper puts forward the principles of the theme hotel development in Hancheng,including highlighting the principle of theme culture,emphasizing the principle of cultural and economic,and harmonizing with the urban tourism planning,and proposing the strategy of developing the theme hotel of Hancheng: developing the theme hotel of Yellow River culture,developing the theme hotel,developing folk culture theme hotel.Taking a theme hotel in Hancheng as an example,by using the SWOT analysis method,this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the development of a theme hotel in Hancheng,and puts forward some countermeasures;using the economic methods such as net present value,internal rate of return and breakeven analysis,this paper demonstrates the economic feasibility of a theme hotel in Hancheng;using analytic hierarchy process,to determine the risk factors and the weight of a theme hotel in Hancheng,and put forward the measures to deal with the risk.
