The Use Of Confucian Cultural Elements In Theme Hotels

With the rapid development of China,all walks of life in the domestic market continue to bring forth new ideas.The hotel industry is also the case,in the continuous innovation,derived from the theme of a particular element of the hotel.As a representative of the Confucian culture Chinese traditional culture,the influence of traditional architectural design of China deeply,so also should keep pace with the times in the current social background,to further promote the combination of China indigenous culture--Confucianism and contemporary design,make China local cultural elements have attracted more and more attention.In Qufu,there are a lot of Confucian culture as the theme of the hotel,although there are some good design,but there are still some hotel image through Confucian culture is not clear,cannot use appropriate for the elements of the expression;a little too old,but contains traditional flavor is too stiff.Therefore,the application of Confucian culture in the theme hotel design as the research topic,from the concept of Confucian culture theme hotel and the status quo,combined with the application of Confucian Aesthetics in modern design,detailed analysis from space,color,material,lighting,furnishings.Finally,taking Shandong Qufu yaloo hotel as an example,the application of Confucian culture elements in the modern theme hotel design are demonstrated.
