The Book of Songs is the first poetry collection in China,and is an important literature from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the middle of the Spring and Autumn Period.It reflects all aspects of society in this era,and contains rich knowledge about sacrificial culture.Sacrifice is an important activity in the pre-Qin era,while the religious philosophy is also one of the main ways of thinking for the ancestors in this period.The sacrificial culture has a great influence on the aesthetic features on images of the literature creation of The Book of Songs.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the aesthetic features of the sacrificial culture in The Book of Songs from the perspective of sacrificial culture.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part explores the origin and connotation of sacrificial culture,and analyzes its various causes,which are,the generation and development of natural worship,soul worship and ancestor worship.Then,it the changes of the attitude towards ghosts and gods in the Xia,Shang,and Zhou Dynasties,and discusses the changes and features of the sacrificial culture after it developed to the The Book of Songs era,when experienced the reform by Zhou Gong's social institution and Confucius.The second part discusses the performance of sacrificial culture in The Book of Songs.That is,the profound cultural connotation behind the astronomical and geographical images,animal images,plant images in the sacrificial words,vessels,offerings and places in the The Book of Songs under the influence of sacrificial culture.It also observes from the perspective of "Yin and yang",then reveals the cultural concepts of yin and yang culture and symbolic meaning behind the image of the religious ritual culture in the words,thus reflecting the image and aesthetic features of the sacrificial culture in The Book of Songs era.The third part focuses on analyzing the compression of changes in aesthetic features of the sacrificial culture in The Book of Songs.Influenced by the sacrificial culture,a variety of cultural images with vitality are shown in The Book of Songs.It also sums up the aesthetic features of these images with the inductive method,that is,thecomparison between implicit and explicit,dynamic and static,vulgar and sublime,rationality and sensibility,as well as the influence of such aesthetic features on China's traditional beliefs.
