The paper firstly introduces the comparative study situation of sacrificial culture between the Book of Songs and Chuci and the significance. The main body contains foure parts: the similiarities of sacrificial culture between the Book of Songs and Chuci, the difference between the two, the reasons for the diversity of culture, and the aesthtical content contained in the two.The similiarities of sacrificial culture between the Book of Songs and Chuci are common sacrificial origin and purpose, common sacrificial religion conception and totem culture system. This paper has analyzed the diffrences btween the two from sacrificial object, means, function and words feature. As to sacrificial object, the Book of Songs takes the ancestors as the mainbody, while Chuci takes the natural god as the mainbody; as to sacrificial means, the differences has been analyzed from sacrificial rites and process, sacrificial music and dance, sacrifice, sacrificial time and position; as to sacrificial function, the Book of Songs pays more attention to political functions, while Chuci to cultural functions; as to sacrificial words feature, the Book of Songs is characterized by tidiness and alliteration, more oral speech and suitability for singing, while Chuci by diversity in sentence patterns with the local feature of Chu Kingdom. The difference of sacrificial culture between the Book of Songs and Chuci is also demonstrated by the influences of religious conception evolution and the difference between the South and the North culture.The aesthetic content and the connotation of harmony between god and man and harmony between rite and music contained in the two books have provided some certain aestheic reference to building harmonious society. The sacrificial cultures in the two books corroborate the connotation of central plains culture and South Chu culture and becomes as a caricature of the South and North historical culture, whose historical, cultural, academic and scientific values can't be overestimated or negated. Furthmore, to inherit and further promote the sacrificial culture will be of help to cultivate national spirit, strengthen national identity and inherit Chinese traditional culture, educate people and rectify the general mood of society.
