English is an international language and an important tool for international communications.But for Chinese students,the shortage of language environment is the most biggest obstacle in improving the ability of listening,speaking,reading,writing and so on.The students in secondary vocational schools have no exception.The rapid development of Internet technology has brought both tremendous challenges and opportunities to educational informatization.As an endpoint of using Internet technology,smart phones have many features such as flexibility,high efficiency,virtually,and popularity.Therefore,this new teaching method,modern education model based on smart phone platform,has been widely used.The using of smart phones is getting more and more approval in the education field.How to use smart phones to promote teaching has become a hot topic.This thesis focuses on the application value of using smart phones in English teaching and learning.Through comparison with traditional English learning channels,learning time and space,and learning content,it shows that English teaching with the help of smart phone can expand new learning channels,extend learning time and space,and enrich learning content.Then through comparison and case studying,this paper expounds the practical application of smart phone in English vocabulary,reading,listening,oral English and grammar in secondary vocational schools.It shows the significance of smart phone in English teaching from the angle of practice.The application of smart phone in secondary vocational English teaching is investigated and experimented based on the practical application of smart phone in English vocabulary,reading,listening,oral English and grammar in secondary vocational schools.The students are very satisfactory with such kind of teaching.In addition,the experiment method is used to analyze that smart phone teaching can improve learning achievement.Meanwhile,this needs guidance,including fundamental facilities for smart phone English teaching,self-qualification of English teachers in secondary vocational school,and self-cultivation of students in secondary vocational school.The writer summarizes the entire paper and gets the conclusion.Smart phone teaching is to meet the needs of the information age.It has great significance in vocational English teaching,especially in breaking the traditional teaching mode and expanding new learning channels,Extension of teaching time and space,the development of autonomous learning and enrichment of learning content.
