Love Under Control—On The Characters And Conflicts In Father-Child Relationship Motif Films

Based on the writer’s method of writing and combined with psychologically related theory of interpersonal psychology,this paper explores the “Father-Child relationship"character image and Plot conflict progress under the traditional Asian culture-Control Relationship.This article takes a sample of excellent 21 st film and television works based on the father and son theme,and comes to its analysis in conjunction with the graduation writing script "Reunion".The analysis of the character image in the “ Father-Child relationship ” is the starting point.Taking the process of the person relationship as the axis,the full text is divided into three parts,namely: initial character Shaping,conflict progressing,and character growing.First of all,"father" is the root cause of this control relationship.This paper explores Characters’ pre-history from the image of the "father" and discovers the character’s control behavior in the "Father-Child relationship" through "dilemma choices".Secondly,with the progress of the father-son conflict,the “Father-Child relationship” is divided into confrontation and dialogue: the awakening of the child generation,ie.the formation of confrontation;the growth of the parent generation,ie.equal dialogue.Finally,this paper summarizes two different "Father-Child relationship" outcomes of different character growing results-confrontation and dialogue: farewell and reconciliation.The three parts of the full text are divided by the Chronological order and logic sequence of the "Father-Child relationship" process,and analyze the authoritarian behavior under "Father-Child relationship".
