Because of the constantly innovating technology and the increasing audience's aesthetics.Documentary narrative is a field of discussion that cannot be neglected.This paper focuses on how different choices of narrative strategies affect the authenticity of films.A documentary must be screened by the director as same as movie.But the biggest difference between movie and documentary is how to show the truth of their life.How to keep this meaning,but not miss the opportunity for documentaries to move forward It's the subject of this article.This article combines the actual shooting process of“the fast snail”.According to the theory system of narratology,the author divides the content into Three major arers: Storytelling narrative?The choice of narrative perspective and The use of non visual language.Combining text analysis and Practice,It is believed that choosing different narrative strategies will affect the authenticity of the movie.It is hoped that this research can enrich the analysis of narrative strategies of character documentaries and provide new ideas for future research on narrative strategies of character documentaries.
