Research On Narrative Strategy Of Character Documentary

This paper takes the character documentary as the main body of research to make a study on its narrative strategy from two aspects of concept and form.Combined with other character documentaries,personal graduation work The Doctor's Benevolence is taken as the main case to make an in-depth study on how to express and present the topic thought and narrative subject in the character documentary through the literature research method and the case analysis method,based on the full use of narrative theory,by using reasonable narrative strategy.This paper will make full use of the theory to guide the practice and to verify the theory by practice.In the main theoretical research,it will be elaborated from three aspects.To begin with,the research background,research purpose and research significance of this article are first explained,and then the literature and images related to this research are concluded and studied to understand the research status of this paper.This paper takes the literature research method and case analysis method as the main research approaches.Secondly,the author makes a theoretical study from four aspects,namely,perspective,structure,image and sound of the documentary narrative,and then makes a thorough analysis of the four aspects above of the narrative strategy in combination with individual outstanding documentary cases.This paper expounds the use of narrative strategy in the personal work The Doctor's Benevolence.Thirdly,the problems,experiences and shortcomings encountered in this theoretical research and practical creation are summarized and reflected.This thesis makes an innovation in: attaching importance to the interaction between theory and practice,combining detailed and comprehensive with graduation works on the basis of narratology related theories,and using theory to solve problems and puzzles encountered in practice.Then,the experience gained in practice is drawn and compared with the theory.Finally,academic conclusion is made to provide some reference value for the application of narrative strategy in character documentary.
