With the rapid development of economy,acid rain,acid mist and other phenomena occurring frequently,the stone relics are suffered more and more serious erosion.Because of its precious value,the research on the protection of stone relics has been the focus by scholars all around the world.In this paper,a series of research on the protection against the erosion of limestone stone relics was carried out.With basis of the study on the limestone of Longmen Grottoes,two kinds of corrosion protection materials,new nano calcium oxalate and magnesium fluorosilicate,were proposed.A new type of nanometer calcium oxalate protective material was developed,and its specific proportion was determined by the performance test.After that,the erosion resistance tests of limestone stone relics were carried out.The working mechanism of two kinds of erosion protection materials were analyzed.Therefore,the protection material system of limestone rock heritage is optimized.The main research results are as follows:First,through the research of the present situation of the domestic and foreign stone cultural relic protection materials,two kinds of protection materials,which are nanometer calcium oxalate and magnesium fluosilicate,were put forward.Considered with the advantages of biomimetic materials and nano materials,a new type of nanometer calcium oxalate protective material was proposed.During the process of the development,sodium stearate was used to modify the nano calcium oxalate,which made the material hydrophobic.At the same time,taking the superiority of the composite material,a new type of nanometer calcium oxalate protective material was developed by mixing the modified nanometer calcium oxalate with the fluorocarbon polymer emulsion.In consideration of the advantages of silicone resin and the natural environment of Longmen Grottoes relics,the research group also put forward the protection material of magnesium fluosilicate.Second,the performance index of the new type of nano calcium oxalate protective material was tested.Via the test data of solid content,permeability,permeability,water resistance,acid resistance,salt resistance and other properties,finally,the optimal proportion of the new nano calcium oxalate protective material was the ratio of the nano calcium oxalate slurry and fluorocarbon polymer emulsion equal to 0.7:1.Third,the experimental study on the erosion resistance of limestone cultural relics was carried out,and the protective effect and mechanism of the two kinds of anti erosion materials on the limestone cultural relics were analyzed.By measuring the quality,elastic wave velocity and uniaxial compressive strength of rock specimen under different conditions and pH value of the solution,the data of anti erosion effects and laws of anti erosion protective material were collected,the analysis of the working mechanism of protective material become deeper.
