With the development of China's foreign economy,more and more foreign trade enterprises are in urgent need of application oriented and intermediate talents who can flexibly use English to communicate with customers.However,at present,the cultivation of business talents in our country lays stress on theoretical teaching,and ignores the students' practical English expression ability.Since the 80 s of last century,case teaching,with its modern teaching idea,lively teaching methods,rich and colorful teaching content,has been recognized by the great powers of various vocational education in the west,especially in Germany as the representative of vocational education powers.So far,it has gradually developed into an increasingly mature and perfect teaching method.However,the research and application of this model in the teaching of secondary vocational education in China is still in its infancy.The related research works have not been formed yet,and further research is needed to form a complete and systematic education and teaching system.Based on this,this paper takes "case" as the carrier and takes the basic course of business English in the secondary vocational business as the teaching blueprint.Combing its teaching objectives,case teaching is put into practice through the establishment of a real teaching activity scene in the course of teaching.The experiment proves that the teaching model can strengthen the understanding and mastery of the basic business English knowledge of the students,and improve the ability to express and apply the business communication of the secondary vocational students.It is of great significance for the training of modern business complex talents with certain business knowledge and communication skills.The main research results are as follows:The application of case teaching model improves the teaching method of business English course,optimizes the teaching mode of business English course in secondary vocational school,and enriches the theory of vocational education.The application of the independent inquiry teaching model in the case teaching,effectively exerts the students' subjective initiative,and promotes the students to learn flexibly and vividly in the classroom.It is also plays an important role in promoting the students' comprehensive skills in Business English,the social ability,the method and the ability,and the improvement of their individual abilities.In the specific teaching,case teaching design and application process design will help to implement the case teaching method step by step according to the process.It has obtained the good teaching effect through the actual teaching experiment.Through consulting relevant case data,two case teaching samples were designed and compiled,which enriched the case teaching material database.
