The academia's study of Su Man Shu until today,either in his outside life and experiences,or inner spirit and emotion,in general can be attributed to the pattern of "literati",is fundamentally regard him as a lonely literati,pure or with some revolutionary ideals and cynical of literati,and few deals with his chivalry spirit,or Su Man Shu is actually a swordsman with versatility,even if it's involved in the aspects of chivalry,just as a reference in the study of element,largely irrelevant,did not realize the meaning of chivalry for Su Man Shu,hitherto hardly any papers from the pattern of "swordsman",that is to say,from the angle of chivalry spirit or chivalry culture tradition to study the works of Su Man Shu.This paper intends to further on the basis of other scholar' study.By means of Su Man Shu's prevalent works and life experiences,he is extremely subjective type of writers and artists,his works are works of profound subjective type,whose works is his own direct externalization of temperament and personality,especially the characters in the novels and paintings,generally all is the embodiment of himself,basically,Su Man Shu's own chivalry spirit is the chivalry spirit in works,and the chivalry spirit in works also is the chivalry spirit of Su Man Shu.The contents of works show in three aspects: homeland missing,be immersed in love,buddhist purport.Then,hero complex,celebrities demeanor,and inclination toward seclusion result from the contents of works mutual fusion,molded Su Man Shu's chivalry spirit.The chivalry spirit show in four aspects: personal heroism,national consciousness,cosmopolitanism,free will,that is to say,based on the personal heroism and sublimate nationalism of cosmopolitanism,and then to pursue himself's freedom and the freedom of all living,China's freedom and the freedom of the whole world.Such by the chivalry spirit and form the unique personality of itself is a kind of aesthetic object,so this paper wants to argument it from two aspects of Su Man Shu's prevalent works and life experiences,as well as the cause of the chivalry spirit,in order to a better understanding of Su Man Shu's prevalent works and life experiences.
