Wandering Between Beijing School And Left-wing

From life experiences of Shi Tuo,turbulent social realities and the influence of Enlightenment Literature,this paper interpret the subjective and objective factors in the formation of the Beijing School,the Left Wing and the Enlightenment in Shi Tuo's creation.The author thinks Shi Tuo's intoxicate natural beauty and yearn for human beauty,it consistents with the "Beijing School" literary style.The darkness of society and the reality of the peril of the nation facilitate the Shi Tuo closer to the "Left-wing" literary theme paradigm than before.In this way,there was a tremendous tension between the inclination to pursue “beauty” and the revolutionary salvation sentiment created by the reality.This makes Shi Tuo's narrative model drift between the natural human narrative of the “Beijing School” and revolutionary salvation narrative of the “Left Wing”.In general terms,in the early and mid 1930 s,Shi Tuo tends to the narrative of revolutionary salvation.The late 1930 s and early 1940 s,Shi Tuo tends to the Beijing School Literature.In the late 1940 s to the post-liberation period,dominant is the works of the mainstream consciousness.In addition,Due to the influence of the May 4th the Enlightenment literature,these works of Shi Tuo also include that reflect the liberation of women and the intellectual narrative.In short,Shi Tuo's creation presents a variety of styles or colors.So,we should have a comprehensive view to study Shi Tuo's creative tendencies.Shi Tuo cannot simply be classified as the "Beijing School " or the "Left Wing" and he cannot be regarded purely as the successor to the May 4th Enlightenment literature.
