Research On Films About Migrant Workers In China In The New Century

Since the beginning of the new century,movies with migrant workers as their subject matter have entered a prosperous period both quantitatively and qualitatively,reaching an unprecedented height,and there has been a diversified trend that coexists in comedy form and other forms,causing a big social effect.Since the 1980 s when China's migrant workers' movies appeared to flourish in the new century,such movies have accumulated a great deal of experience in practice,appear many excellent works.In the process of the commercialization of Chinese movies,many directors paid attention to put on the special group of migrant workers,more and more migrant worker films enter the theater,get consistent praise.The“big fever”of migrant worker films is whether the director's exposure to the underlying state of living population has aroused the public's attention,or whether the “pan-entertainment” of the image of migrant workers caters to the audience's aesthetic interests.This question is worth our pondering.The migrant worker is a product of Chinese social development.The migrant worker film is a film with the characteristics of Chinese social transition.This article aims to study the migrant worker movies in China since the 21 st century.The artistic phenomenon explores its creative features in the new era under the social and literary context,analyzes the social values and problems of such films,in order to provide a theoretical reference for follow-up studies,to the creation of films and to promote society development.The first chapter of the thesis is a general analysis of migrant workers' films,including the definition,development,and analysis of the presentation of such movies.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of peasant-workers' films.The third chapter will study the characters in the peasant workers film and explore the unique features it presents.In the last chapter,the special effects of the movie on the development of Chinese society do a comprehensive analysis to explore the social value of such films in order to provide reference for later creation.
