The Comparative Study On The Artistic Style Of Animation Movie Shooting Based On The Data Analysis Between U.S.A. And Japan

As the unique artistic form and expression,an animation is perfectly present in front of audiences.The film animations with both artistry and commerce are widely praised.Due to different regions and cultures in each country,there is the respective artistic style of animation.As the essence of film animation,storyboard always becomes the target of public criticism.There is no doubt that USA and Japan have prominent performance in storyboard application,thus this paper tries to make a comparison on the storyboard data of popular film animations between USA and Japan,sets up the valuing range of comparative study,and summarizes the different style of American and Japanese animations from the objective perspective,hoping to explore the exclusive creation method for the domestic animations.This is good for applying the reliable data in practice and extracting the suitable road to develop Chinese film animations.The main contents and research methods of this paper are summarized as follows:The first part elaborates the research status of the storyboard.The author states the research background,target,significance and research methods of animation movie shooting,and analyzes the status and achievements of animation movie shooting in Disney,DreamWorks Studios and Hayao Miyazaki animations for embodying particularity and necessity of the paper.In the end,this part displays the entire framework.The second part begins with the influence factors of animation movie shooting and states the categories of technical elements and cultural elements,hoping to restate the different animation movie shooting styles in various countries.The third part begins with the spatial relationship of storyboard,storyboard connection(transition),sports lens and lens perspective to do statistical analysis for animation movie shooting of Disney,DreamWorks Studio and Hayao Miyazaki animations.Also,this part establishes the value range for the comparative study and summarizes the data.In the end,through the integrated analysis of data,the feasibly effective reference range is obtained.The fourth part is based on the animation movie shooting of the USA and Japan.By aiming at storyboard of 27 works,the different element applications for the same plot in various countries can be obtained.The fifth part is based on the statistical data to apply in the creative practice of storyboard.This paper conducts the data analysis integration for storyboard elements in 27 works,including Disney,DreamWorks Studio and Hayao Miyazaki animations,sets up the data value range,and summarizes the storyboard style in line with the data range.Finally,this part summarizes the application methods and disciplines of different storyboard element and applies it in practice to prove research effectiveness.This study basically figures out and obtains the different data value ranges of each element in animation movie shooting of Disney,DreamWorks Studio and Hayao Miyazaki animations.Based on data,this study analyzes and summarizes the application style of animation movie shooting between USA and Japan and achieves the preset goal.
