Research On The Application Of Hangzhou's Urban Cultural Elements In Quilting Art Design

Patchwork is one of the ancient craft techniques.The designer gives his thoughts to life with a variety of fabrics,cuts and collages regular or irregular fabrics,and expresses the decorative effects with varied techniques.On the long history of the East and the West,the figure of patchwork art can be seen everywhere.With the changes of the times,this familiar and unfamiliar craftsmanship has gradually become one of the indispensable fashions in the mass life,from big decoration to small backpack.There will be the existence of patchwork art.Starting from the origin of patchwork art,this paper explores the characteristics and development status of the East-West mosaic,summarizes the representative elements of Hangzhou city culture,and puts forward its own ideas and innovations on the basis of theoretical guidance.Through continuous research and practice,the innovation of patchwork techniques and techniques,to form their own unique patchwork works with the theme of Hangzhou urban culture elements.The paper is divided into five chapters to describe.The first chapter is the introduction,expounding the research background,research methods,research purposes and significance.The second chapter compares the origin,development and expression of the patchwork of the East and the West,and analyzes the status quo and development trend of the patchwork at home and abroad.The third chapter and the fourth chapter respectively explore the cultural elements of Hangzhou and the application in the art of patchwork.The fifth chapter is the author's search for the urban cultural elements of Hangzhou on the basis of the third and fourth chapters.Thinking,practice,and the display of design works with the theme of "Shadow·Hang".This time,the modern patchwork art is combined with the urban cultural elements of Hangzhou,and a lot of research is carried out on the cultural elements ofHangzhou city.By sorting out the relevant literature materials,the cultural elements of Hangzhou city are sorted out,and the representative cultural elements of Hangzhou city are summarized.At the same time,the art of patchwork art is innovatively designed,and the conventional patchwork technique is broken in the design method.In order to better complete this design,the author made an innovative design on the overall structure of the screen,fabric selection,form aesthetics and craftsmanship,and carried out two series of designs with patchwork works with Hangzhou theme.Focusing on this graduation design work,it expresses the individual's thinking and perception in the art of patchwork.The ultimate goal of this design is to better inherit the art of patchwork and to show the cultural characteristics of Hangzhou city,in line with the current era and trend.
