This article tries to analyze Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy art characteristics, from his book, aesthetic category, technique analysis, get Yan Zhenqing's "Xiongxiu" calligraphy aesthetics, which is in line with the Wei and Jin Dynasty's method. The article is divided into three chapters. The first chapter briefly describes Yan Zhenqing and his book.Yan Zhenqing was born in a scholar-bureaucrat family. His ancestor is Langya Yan,a famous family in Central Plains. The Yan family has many Confucianism, exegetics, writers and good writers in the past dynasties.Yan Zhitui of the fifth generation was a famous writer in the Northern Qi Dynasty, who wrote "Yan's Family Instructions".Yan Shigu,a great-grandfather,was a writer and historian in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. He was good at exegesis and calligraphy. His father and Yan Weizhen were good at grass and Li scripts.Chapter Two Su Shi commented on "Yan Lu Gong Shu Xiong Xiu is outstanding" in "Shu Tang Shi Six Scholars".He elaborated on the original meaning of "Xiong" and "Xiu" and the understanding of calligraphy level,so as to understand Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy aesthetics. The third chapter compares Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy, gesture and charm with those of Jin Dynasty, which are represented by his "Manuscripts for His Nephew".It is concluded that Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy is the heir of Wang Xizhi, whose pedigree can be traced. We can draw inspiration from the method of sewing pens, taking advantage of space and taking advantage of momentum with Wei and Jin Dynasties. The Tang Dynasty enlarged and programmed Jin people's squatting pen and setback pen movements.Chapter IV: The influence of Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy on my creation: Understanding Lu Gongxiong's natural beauty, thick and smooth stippling, and the natural transformation of center and side-forward.In my creation,I focused on moving forward with the top paper of the wrapped edge pen to enhance the texture of the lines. The structure of Lu Gong's body is broad and runs through the whole work with potential, which is the so-called "inexorable trend" and "irrepressible trend".Thick lines, simple and natural rules, natural interest.
