Environmental Ethics Awareness Research Under The Vision Of Ecological Civilization In China

According to environmental ethics,to preserve the ecological environment human practice must follow the rules of the nature.Nowadays,our country is in its process of modernization.With the growth of economy and population,ecological resources are becoming scarce and the disharmony between man and nature is increasingly obvious.Regenerating and protecting ecological resources from the perspective of the ethical relationship between human and social environment is one of the basic points of environmental ethics.It also prompts us to give ethical thinking over destructing natural resources in the process of social development.To promote people's environmental ethics awareness is a very important part in our construction of social ecological civilization.The purpose is to establish a harmonious,stable and sustainable relationship between human and society,between human and nature.The scientific environmental ethics requires us,in different aspects such as practice and theory,to undertake comprehensive ecological civilization construction and to improve people's awareness of environmental protection.Construction of ecological civilization must be supported by our consciousness of environmental ethics.This paper,by following Marxism thoughts and theories and Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era,sorts out the environmental ethics consciousness from the perspective of ecological civilization construction in China,based on the environmental ethic thoughts in occident and the findings of China's ecological ethics research.Centering on how to raise people's awareness of environmental ethics in the ecological civilization construction,it discusses the significance of raising people's awareness of environmental ethics in our ecological civilization construction and the truth and source of absence of environmental ethics consciousness.And then it attempts to find ways to promote people's awareness of environmental ethics.The paper has six parts.The first part “Introduction” generally explains the theoretical and application values of this paper,and analyzes related academic achievements both at home and abroad,the basic ideas and research methods of this paper.The second part elaborates the significance of environmental ethics to the construction of ecological civilization,including its roles in re-examining and rethinking the connotation of ecological civilization,in guiding the direction of ecological civilization development,in cultivating people's ecology awareness,in changing those traditional ecological values and in many other aspects.The third part describes the existing problems of China's environmental ethics consciousness,such as the lack of moral concern,dislocation of development conceptions,unreinforced sense of duty,and twisted fortune chasing,etc.In the fourth part,the roots of problems relating to environmental ethics consciousness during the construction of ecological civilization are summarized by emphasizing the resulting eagerness for quick success and instant benefits,unconcern about moral consciousness,improper management systems,market selection failure and other factors from anthropocentrism.In the fifth part,countermeasures to correct the deficiency in environmental ethics consciousness are discussed mainly from ecological concepts,development concepts and ethical construction as well as institutional and environmental ethics.The last part is the Conclusion,which generalizes the scope of application and value orientation of this paper,and the problems to be solved further.
