Strategies Of Comment Translation For Statistical Machine Translation Training

This paper discusses strategies used in a comment translation project of an overseas shopping website by analyzing features and training methods of statistical machine translation,and the features of the source text in particular.The paper identifies that statistical machine translation has three major features,namely,mechanicalness,limited context,imitation of corpus.Accordingly,the paper summarizes that translators should produce reusable standardized text and take the limits of statistical machine translation into consideration when translating training materials for statistical machine translation.
