Abstract/Summary:
In the Song and Yuan Dynasties, great changes took place in Chinese society. The South shift in the economic center of gravity, the flourishing of the civic culture, and the conquest and domination of the aliens caused great changes in the Chinese language. This change was also truly reflected in the vocabulary.More and more attention has been paid to vocabulary research, and related research results have also become more and more abundant. The soon-to-be-published book,"Jin Xun Hui Zuan(song and Yuan volumes)",which is intended to become a large-scale reference book combined information and research, comprehensively collect the interpretation results of the Song and Yuan words in the past 100 years, and add research notes to some items. However,as the huge workload of compiling, there are still many entries which need to add notes. This paper selects six entries without the note:chaipai(差排),cunji(存济),bucunbuji(不存不济),naihe(奈何),ponai(叵耐),nandang(难当),to analyze and correct the explanations, give my own opinions, explore the origin and the extension of the words meaning, comb the sense, adjust the imperfect places in the sense arrangement and sense division. For "chaipai(差排)",it adds a "fabricate;make up" meaning, and summarizes the meaning into three items:1 dispatch;arrange.2 scheme;plot;3 fabricate;make up.The meaning of "cunji(存济)"is summed up in three terms:1 survive.2 livelihood.3 peaceful."bucunbuji(不存不济)”comes from " cunji(存济)"and sums it up into two items:1 cannot survive.2 unstable;restless. The word "naihe(奈何)"in the modern Chinese language period has a rich meaning and is summed up in six senses:1 verb, referring to certain actions, how to deal with them.2 question word.3 countermeasures.4 have no choice;impotence.5 interjection, expressing sorrow or mourning.6 with the "naihe(奈河)".The "ponai(叵耐)"is summarized into four meanings:1 intolerable and unbearable.2 have no choice,.impotence 3 hateful,abominable.4 swearwords, rogue."nandang(难当)" can mean"playing" but the source is not clear. This article think it may be related to the "Nuo Opera",but because of not seeing more sufficient evidence, the conclusion is somewhat far-fetched,and need to be explored in depth.
