It has been more than 30 years since Fan Xiaoqing started her literary writing in the 1980 s.During this period,she is so diligent that she has made plenty of good works about a variety of subjects with rich expressions,which prove her success as a mature writer.Based on the development of the times,she aims to reflect on the human's real living condition and go deep into the human nature and depict the humanity,which makes her works full of profound humanistic feelings and aesthetic value.China is in the process of modernization of reform and development these 30 more years,which can not be done at one stroke.So there must exist a “dislocated relationship”during the transition stage.And Fan Xiaoqing is so good at reflecting the “dislocated relationship”.In the view,this paper based on systematic analysis will objectively value Fan's contributions to the Chinese contemporary literature history by pointing out the corresponding relationship between the society and her work,the development of Chinese contemporary realistic works and the enrichment of the literary experience.The thesis consists of three major parts.The first part analyses the background of novels by using the theories and the methods of sociology and history:the dislocated relationships between the times and social reality,between the social development and the social culture,between the human's destiny and social reality.The second part describes how the changing times has influenced spiritual structure of human when they try to identify themselves and pursue their dreams and beliefs,including the dislocated identification of identity,gender,beliefs.The third part will find out the ideological implication and aesthetic tension of Fan's works by using the theories of narratology and aesthetic.
