Sergey Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff(Sergey Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff,1873—1943)was a Russian composer,pianist and conductor in the end of the 19 th century and thebeginning of the 20 th century.In his life,he has created many classic works of music.Among them,"Etudes-Tableaux" Op.39 is a mid-production work,and it is also a masterpiece of maturity.It is inspired by the scenes of children playing.This work has a strong era and national characteristics."Etudes-Tableaux" Op.39 contains 9 Etudes.Each capital has a rich storyline and vivid sound picture,which fully expresses the author's individualism.In this paper,the study of the semitone melody lines in "Etudes-Tableaux" Op.39 is divided into three parts: The first part introduces the life of Rachmaninoff and "EtudesTableaux".The second part expounds the concept of "semiphone melody line" and analyzes the music performance of the semitone melody line in "Etudes-Tableaux" Op.39.By adding concrete examples,the music image from the semitone melody line The two aspects of shaping and emotional expression and acoustic color are combined with the theme content given by Rachmaninov to analyze the role of semitone melody lines in music.The third part combines the theoretical analysis in the second chapter,from the three aspects of playing strength,playing touch keys and pedal application,to study the playing method of semitone melody lines in Laplace's Etude works.Through the writing of this article,the author hopes to comprehensively and systematically dissect the expression and playing method of the semitone melody lines in Rachmaninoff's "Etudes-Tableaux" Op.39 in music,from different angles to study "sound painting" Etudes-Tableaux "Op.39" and the accurate grasping and display of the characteristics of the music in the performance provide some reference and reference.
