English writing in Senior High School accounts not only a large part scores of the college entrance examination,but also a part that students fail to do well in the college entrance examination.The New Curriculum Standard(2017 edition)puts forward these requirements for Senior High School students in English writing: clear and coherent content,complete structure,strong logic,pertinent topic,and appropriate words and styles.Feedback plays an important role in English writing learning in Senior High School.So,teacher should put much emphasis on the important role of feedback in English writing learning.At present,teacher feedback is often used in the teaching of English writing.But English teachers in Senior High School shoulder burdensome teaching tasks,teaching several classes English at the same time.Therefore,peer feedback has been put forward and been regarded as the supplement way of teacher feedback.Due to the advantages and disadvantages of teacher feedback and peer feedback,teacher feedback plus peer feedback emerges as the times require.Questionnaire and experiment are applied in this paper to explore: First,what's students' attitude towards teacher plus peer feedback? Second,can teacher plus peer feedback more significantly improve the English writing scores of students in Senior High School than teacher feedback? The results show that,after 12 weeks of different writing feedback modes,English writing scores both in the experimental class and in the control class have improved,but there is no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the control class,however,significant progress in the post-test scores of the experimental class.Plus,the post-test scores of the experimental class are much higher than that of the control class.The implications of this study are as follows: Through the method of comparative experiment and questionnaire,it is proved that teacher feedback plus peer feedback is an effective feedback mode in English writing.Compared to the teacher feedback,teacher feedback plus peer feedback can more significantly improve the English writing scores of students in Senior High School.Plus,Senior High School students are inclined to this feedback mode.In the teaching of English writing in Senior High School,English teachers should put emphasis on the roles of feedback,and try new modes of composition evaluation and feedback.
