| English writing in senior high school is essential and hard in English teaching, and it is an important skill that students must master.Feedback is very important in the teaching of English writing. The author finds that English teachers often donate a lot of time and energy in the teaching of English writing in class introduction exercises and after-class corrections, but because most teachers basically use a single teacher feedback mode to evaluate and correct students’ compositions,it increases the pressure on teachers. In addition, students did not pay enough attention to the feedback they received, and the revisions were not timely enough, and their writing scores and feedback effects were not satisfactory. Therefore, this study takes the Grade One students of Mulei County Middle School as the research object and adopts the method of comparative experiment to explore the effects of "teacher feedback + peer feedback" and single teacher feedback in improving the English writing level of Grade One students in Mulei County Middle School. This study uses SPSS19.0 to compare and analyze the English writing scores before and after the experimental class and the control class. The research results show that after 12 weeks of different writing feedback, the English writing scores of the two classes have reached a statistically significant difference, but compared to the control class, the experimental class’ post-test scores are higher than the pretest scores. In the three major sub-items of language, content and structure in the post-test and pretest of the experimental class, through the 12-week teacher +peer feedback experiment, the performance of the language sub-item improved most significantly, followed by content, and finally structure. This research has the following enlightenment: 1)In high school English writing teaching, teachers should combine teacher feedback and peer feedback to strengthen students’ dominant position,so as to stimulate students’ interest in English writing and improve their English writing skills.2)The author suggests that the majority of English teachers can carry out more writing exercises and use writing evaluation methods flexibly. |
