An Analysis Of George Gao's Erhu Creation And Shaoqin

George Gao is a famous Erhu artist in China.He stands under the vision of global music fusion and shows the multi-fusion of Chinese and Western music.He also has his own style for the creation of music as a concept.This article takes George Gao's creation of "Erhu Fantasia No.2-Mengfeng"(later abbreviated as "Mengfeng")as an example,and discusses it through the analysis of musical structure,creative style,and playing techniques.George Gao's musical instrument reform "Shaoqin" is innovative.This article collects and collates relevant materials of "Shaoqin",compares "Shaoqin" with Erhu,and the characteristics of the series "Shaoqin" chamber music.Taking George Gao's "Ping dong tan xi" as an example,this paper analyzes George Gao's contribution to the development of Huqin chamber music.Through George Gao's Erhu creation,performance,the rooted tradition of musical instrument reform,the integration of Chinese and Western and the analysis of the practical significance of innovative thinking.
