George Gao,contemporary erhu player,for many years,have dabbled in the field of Chinese and western music culture for many years,in the creation and performance,the aesthetic concepts of Chinese and western music are integrated into his music works,made his artistic style unique,it explores new possibilities for the development of contemporary erhu music,it also made the instrument more widely known to the world audience.This paper selects the second song“Mengfeng”and the fifth song“Nakhi”of George Gao's “erhu rhapsody”series to analyze the text of the works and discuss the creation concept.To explore and analyze the two songs playing skill and music structure,on the basis of analysis the composer's creation idea,and then to show works of Chinese and western music aesthetic reflection,in order to extract contained in the two works of Chinese and western music aesthetic elements,to George Gao's creation idea and performance technique produce certain theory cognition,and thus sunned up the George Gao music creation of reality significance and artistic value,performance and creation to provide for the future research direction.
