A Multi-dimension Study On The "Turning Jokes"

The study of the transition relation has been updating with time.The predecessors have detailed the classification of the transition relations.On this basis,they have made in-depth research on the mark words such as transitional conjunctives and transitional adverbs.In recent years,the funny jokes using transitions(transitional segment)on the internet has become a form of humor.This paper takes the transitional segment as the research object,in order to enrich the research results on transition cases in Chinese language.There are six parts in the paper.The first chapter introduces the research purpose and significance of the research on transitional segment in modern Chinese,the current development,content,theory and methods of the research on the subject,and finally provides the source of the linguistic data.The second chapter mainly focuses on language expressions.Transitional segment have diverse expressions,mainly including phonetic,the vocabulary,and sentence.The third chapter is mainly from the perspective of cohesion and intertextuality.The cohesive mode of the transitional segment is mainly represented by three forms.The intertextual type and the intertextuality of the transitional segment are mainly manifested in the intertextual distorted interpretation of the main text,the intertwined interaction between the texts and intertextual distorted summary of the main text and so on.The fourth chapter is from the perspective of semantics and expression function and argues that in the process of speech comprehension,paragraphs often use a variety of reasoning or presupposition analysis;the presupposition has false pragmatic presupposition and revocation of presupposition consensus;understanding on concepts also affects the interpretation of the transitional segment.This chapter explains the matter through connotation and extension,showing how the change of concept and confusion in the paragraph makes the reader feel the transition in meaning.The fifth chapter takes the perspective of cognitive pragmatics,interprets the transitional segment by means of the integrated network of conceptual integration theory,demonstrating the process of frame transfer and concept integration in the cognition;uses the relevance theory to explain the sources of factors causing incoherence in understanding of speakers and listeners.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of the innovation and inadequacies.
