Tragedy has the function of striking the mind and deterring the people,has always been regarded as the first of all things in the West,is the"highest art""the highest poem",after thousands of years and the charm of art has not been reduced.The concept of tragedy in China has been introduced from the West since modern times,and the sound of contention has continued in various times,the words of each family are endless,the study of Chinese classical tragedy is deepening,and the theory of tragedy is constantly enriched.It is worth thinking that scholars always stand in the Western tragedy theory to measure and examine the Chinese classical tragedy,pay attention to the differences between Chinese and Western classical tragedies,and ignore the essential similarities between Chinese and Western classical tragedies.Many scholars have a negative and skeptical attitude towards the Chinese classical tragedy,they think that the ancient Chinese opera in the performance and stage color give people a sense of buzz,only the sadness and lack of solemn feeling,and the Western classical tragedy in the content and form of a great difference.But when we put our eyes through the shell of tragic content and form into the core of tragedy,that is,"tragic",we can find that the classical tragedy of China and the West has the most essential common place-the tragic works are full of tragic beauty,brimming with indomitable spirit of struggle and high-spirited vitality.The tragic consciousness of Chinese classical tragedy has a long history,but because of the different cultural system,the tragic works present different features from the West,but they are tragic and undiminished,and they are listed in the vast smoky sea of the world tragedy with their unique posture.On the basis of recognizing that the Chinese and Western classical tragedies are essentially common,based on the text,combined with the geographical environment,cultural soil and specific social background of the Chinese classical tragedy,this paper analyzes the tragic characters,tragic conflicts and the special places of the tragic ending of the Chinese classical tragedy.Then it discusses the tragic quality of the realism of Chinese classical tragedy and the aesthetic tendency of the beauty of"neutralization".This thesis is composed of five parts.The first part of the introduction mainly introduces the research object of the thesis,defines the scope of the concept of"tragedy",and makes a brief introduction to the text based on the paper,the"Top ten classical tragic episodes of China"selected by Mr.Wang Jisi and others.In addition,the purpose and significance of the research of the thesis are expounded,and the present situation of the study of Chinese classical tragedy is analyzed in stages.The first chapter introduces the cultural background of Chinese classical tragedy from three levels.The first section of the unique natural environment and the idea of the unity of Heaven and Man,pointed out the mild natural environment under the birth of a gentle national character,the second section of the"National Tongzhi"of the blood patriarchal system and the publicity of Confucianism,demonstrated that blood relations and Confucianism thought influenced the ancient Chinese thought of adaptation,moderation and sequencing In the third section,the historical transition period of social contradiction intensifies,and discusses that Chinese classical tragedy is the product of a specific era.The second chapter analyzes the content and form of Chinese classical tragedy from three aspects on the basis of"Top ten classical tragedies in China"from the angle of Chinese and western comparison.The first part makes a simple classification of the tragic characters,summed up the characteristics of ordinary people beyond the spirit;the second part analyzes the tragic conflict of Chinese classical tragedy,divides the outcome of Chinese classical tragedy into three types of realistic reunion,fictional reunion and realism,and the third part divides the result of Chinese classical tragedy into"realistic reunion " and"Fictitious reunion" Emancipation,and analysis of the causes of its emergence.The third chapter discusses the unique aesthetic features of Chinese classical tragedy based on the analysis of the first two chapters.The first section of the tragic quality of realism is divided into three points,the author expounds The realistic tradition in ancient Chinese literature,discusses the reality of the subject matter of Chinese classical tragedy and the critical role of punishing evil in tragic works on the basis of words,and the aesthetic tendency of the beauty of"middle and"in the second section is also discussed in three points,and expounds The occurrence and development of the aesthetic proposition of the United States,the combination of the sadness and joy of the tragic plot in the tragic works,and the"neutralization"beauty tendency embodied in the perfection of the tragic ending.The last part of the conclusion of the paper on the content of a summary and sublimation.
