On September 18,1931,the Japanese Kwantung Army launched the "918'incident and occupied northeast China by force.The slavery rule from the Japanese army to northeast China for 14 years,as well as northeast army and people's unremitting struggle against Japan started from here.<Shun Pao>was the longest-running newspaper in modern China with wide public opinion influence.After the outbreak of the "918" incident,<Shun Pao>paid great attention to the current situation of the war in northeast China and published a large number of news reports and comments,fully showed the tragic situation of the northeast region suffering from aggression and the heroic struggle of the local army and people in northeast China against the enemy,at the same time also used the advertisement and the supplement page to carry on the positive public opinion mobilization for the anti-Japanese struggle of northeast area.The paper studies the changes in the content and attitude in news reports,reviews,supplements and other articles of<Shun Pao>during the local anti-Japanese War in northeast China,after the outbreak of the "918" incident,explores the reporting tendency and public opinion performance of<Shun Pao>during the Anti-Japanese War in northeast China,what was<Shun Pao>'s attitude towards the current situation of the war in northeast China?In different periods of anti-Japanese war,what changes have taken place in the political stand and public opinion of<Shun Pao>?And<Shun Pao>how to carry out media appeal and public opinion mobilization for the Anti-Japanese War from political,social and cultural aspects.It also attempts to probe into the relationship between the press and society under the historical background and the national crisis through<Shun Pao>,and the social role of the press in the national crisis.In the first chapter,the author intends to introduce the historical background as a whole,briefly explains the booming development of private newspapers industry in the 1930s,and takes the "918" incident as the time node,further explores the change of political trend and public opinion attitude of private newspapers led by<Shun Pao>,so as to highlight the significance of the transformation of<Shun Pao>.The second,third and fourth chapter are based on the analysis and review of the text materials of<Shun Pao>for further analysis and research.In the second chapter,the author makes a detailed analysis of the documents of<Shun Pao>,concludes how<Shun Pao>reported the disaster in northeast China and what position and attitude it held after the "918"incident.In the third and fourth chapter,the author selects two larger-scale and relatively representative battles(Jiang-qiao battle and Re-he battle)as typical cases,respectively analyses the relevant reports of<Shun Pao>in the two campaigns in detail,successively summarizes the report quantity,type,theme,content,attitude and corresponding publicity of supplement advertisement about war of<Shun Pao>during Jiang-qiao battle and Re-he battle.In view of different war stages and main bodis of anti-Japanese War,further analyzes and summarizes the difference in reporting and attitude change of<Shun Pao>.In the fifth chapter,the author summarizes and discusses the public opinion performance and stage changes of the reports of<Shun Pao>from different perspectives.Then,it analyzes<Shun Pao>'s public opinion mobilization of Anti-Japanese War in northeast China in detail,and elaborates from three main dimensions of politics,society and culture.The conclusion part horizontally analyzes the outstanding characteristics of<Shun Pao>compared with other newspapers in the same period,and then,from a macroscopic perspective,further discusses the relationship between newspapers and society in wartime through<Shun Pao>based on the historical background at that time.At the time of national crisis,private newspapers how to play a certain social role,assume social responsibility,guide public opinion,mobilize the masses,and ultimately have a substantial impact on the national situation.
