A Study On Interface In Science Fiction Films

Interface is a visual medium for human-computer interaction,which can transform computer signals into recognizable visual signals and facilitate human-computer interaction.As a product of the combination of modern technology and mass media,the development of interface reflects the profound expansion of visual culture in modern society.With its digital and non-realistic characteristics,it provides a new visual paradigm and expands people's visual experience.At the same time,as a new media form,the appearance of interface also has an impact on other media forms.Both the interface and the movie belong to the category of visual media,which makes the interface one of the most creative visual elements in movies,especially in science fiction films.It constitutes a complementary interactive relationship with the development of science fiction films.Based on the visual media properties of the interface,this paper makes a systematic analysis of interface images in science fiction films,and expounds the important role interface plays in the form and meaning construction of science fiction films.From the perspective of visual modeling,the development of interface has gone through three stages: hardware interface,graphical interface and embodied interface.It is not only an important visual symbol,but also displays rich visual media functions and visual spatial characteristics.The interface can encode the real and virtual space and provide visual form for the spatial meaning construction of science fiction movies.The narrative mechanism of interface provides a way of technical narration for science fiction movies,in which the reflection of man-machine relationship and other issues can be realized.
