Reading value orientation is the basic value tendency of the subject to realize,understand and choose the purpose,meaning and value of reading based on the reading needs and content of the reading activity.Different individual choices and internalizes different reading values forming a different spiritual world and root traits,which in turn affects all aspects of life.Self-control is one of the ability to make individuals harvest huge.It set certain standards according to the needs of the self,and constrain or execute their own psychological activities and behaviors to obtain long-term benefits.Previous studies have shown that many personal and social adaptation problems in modern society can theoretically be attributed to the lack of self-control.Online shopping addiction is a state in which individuals repeatedly shop through the Internet and damage their physical and mental health and life functions.Individuals are attracted by online shopping and spend too much time and money on online shopping behavior.If the behavior is forcibly stopped,the individual will experience negative emotions and will try to achieve online shopping behavior.This addiction phenomenon,as a "time disease" in the rapid development of the Internet in recent years,has seriously affected the psychological and physical health of college students,leading to a series of tragedies.Therefore,this study uses the self-edited "College Students Reading Value Takes the Vector Table" and "College Students Self-Control Scale"(Tan Shuhua,Guo Yongyu compiled),"College Students Online Shopping Addiction Scale"(Xu Lang compiled),with 394 students from freshmen to the postgraduate were examined about the differences in their reading value orientation,self-control,online shopping addiction in various demographic variables,and the mechanism of action between the three.The study found:(1)The reading value orientation of college students is more inclined to the three orientations of self-cultivation,utilitarian and recreational.The two value orientations of interpersonal and fame are weaker.There is no significant difference in the reading value orientation of college students in terms of gender,place of origin,whether they are only born,and liberal arts.There are significant differences in grades.(2)College students' self-control ability is low.The self-control of college students is significantly different in gender,and the self-control of boys is significantly higher than that of girls.The difference in grades is significant,and the self-control ability of the third-year university students is significantly higher than that of the freshman.(3)The excessive consumption,functional impairment,withdrawal response and total score of college students in online shopping addiction are significantly different in gender.There is no significant difference in gender in online shopping pleasure.(4)The self-control dimensions of self-control in the reading value orientation of college students are significantly related to each dimension of self-control,the dimensions of college students' reading value orientation and the dimensions of online shopping addiction are significant.There are significant correlations between the various dimensions of relevance and self-control and the dimensions of online shopping addiction.(5)Self-control plays a partial intermediary role between the reading value orientation of the delisted type and the online shopping addiction.
