Online shopping addiction refers to a state in which an individual uses the Internet to make repeated purchases and is attracted by online shopping,which damages the life function and consumes a lot of time or money.If the behavior is stopped by force,the individual will have negative emotions and try his best to achieve online shopping.Self-control is the ability of an individual to suppress impulses and desires,regulate emotions,and change his or her thinking and behavior according to self and social standards in order to obtain long-term benefits.Previous studies have found that individuals addicted to online shopping tend to have low self-control.This study attempts to explore the relationship between college students' self-control and online shopping addiction,and to explore how to improve college students' self-control in order to reduce online shopping addiction,so as to provide references for future relevant studies.This study is divided into two parts:In the first part of the study,undergraduates and postgraduates were randomly selected from two universities in hebei province for the test,using the questionnaire on college students' self-control compiled by Tan Shuhua,Guo Yongyu and the questionnaire on college students' online shopping addiction compiled by Xu Lang.A total of 599 pieces of effective data were collected to investigate the relationship between college students' self-control and online shopping addiction and the status quo.Study two recruit the online addiction of college students were divided into experimental group(18)and placebo(18),the control group(18),comparison test,design targeted intervention scheme of experimental group psychological guidance,in the placebo group 8times without auxiliary targeted group activities,to the control group,without any processing,after the intervention of three groups of participants data analysis.The research results are as follows:Research 1 shows that there is no significant difference in students' self-control in theirplace of origin,gender,one-child or not,major and family economic status,but significant difference in grades.There were no significant differences in online shopping addiction among college students in terms of whether they were the only child or not,but there were significant differences in gender,place of origin,major,grade and family economic status.There was a significant negative correlation between college students' self-control and online shopping addiction,and self-control had a negative predictive effect on online shopping addiction.Research 2 shows that targeted group psychological counseling can improve college students' self-control to a certain extent and reduce their degree of online shopping addiction.
