Ingarden's aesthetic phenomenology is based on Husserl's phenomenology, which is one of the important philosophical trends in the early twentieth century.Faced with the chaos and disorder of the real world and the spiritual world,Husserl put forward a rigorous philosophical science-phenomenology.All knowledge "returns to the thing itself" and brings clarity to the world again.Intentionality theory is the basis of phenomenology.Phenomena are generated from intentional activities of consciousness.Essential intuition and transcendental reduction are phenomenological methods.Phenomenology transcends the dualism of traditional metaphysics and promotes the emergence of other related disciplines.Aesthetic phenomenology is undoubtedly one of the most important examples.Ingarden strictly followed and developed the philosophy of Husserl's phenomenology, and extended the first philosophical phenomenology to the second philosophical field of aesthetics. His aesthetic ideas mainly reflected in the understanding of literary works of art, that is,the understanding of intentional objects. He believes that the way of existence of literary works of art is purely intentional object, neither real object nor conceptual object, which is different from psychological experience and "imaginary object".Literary works of art are multi-level.The four levels of literary works are phonetic, semantic, schematic and reproducible objects. In reading activities, when faced with uncertainties,we will consciously carry out concretization, which is the way to understand literary works. Each level of literary works has its unique aesthetic value, and their organic combination will produce polyphonic harmony.Ingarden's aesthetic thoughts are also reflected in the process of readers' reading literary works, that is,the study of intentional activities.Intentional activity produces various aesthetic elements,so it is an aesthetic activity.Ingarden first distinguished literary works from aesthetic objects, which were constructed in aesthetic experience, and primitive emotions were the beginning of aesthetic experience.Compared with aesthetic research,pre-aesthetic research is also very important.Pre-aesthetic research provides a basis for aesthetic research and makes the concretization of works more in line with aesthetic value.Aesthetic concretization is closely related to aesthetic experience, and Reflection on aesthetic concretization can help us understand aesthetic objects more deeply.Ingarden also distinguishes between artistic value and aesthetic value. He believes that artistic value can make the aesthetic value appear.Aesthetic value is an absolute value, which is the self-presentation of the aesthetic value quality of the aesthetic object's own existence, and it can be shown in the reader's view.Ingarden's aesthetic phenomenology, which includes ontology, epistemology and axiology,is a complete aesthetic theory.Although there are some problems and shortcomings,it still has important value, and has direct influence on Hermeneutics and Reception aesthetics.Ingarden's aesthetic theory plays an important role in the aesthetic theory of the twentieth century.Ingaden's aesthetic phenomenology is based on Husserl's phenomenology, which is one of the important philosophical trends in the early twentieth century.
