When human beings were still in the barren period of drinking blood and slash-and-burn cultivation,they began to release the information disseminated by the media of primitive graffiti and totem imitation.Today,science and technology have become increasingly perfect,and the deeper the understanding of the world,the greater the ambition of mankind.The more urgent it is to break through ti me and space for communication and dissemination,and the development of film and television technology just makes up for this gap.As early as the 1950 s,McLuhan,a famous Canadian prophet of the information society,put forward that "the media is the extension of human beings".In the 21 st century,film and tele vision technology has extended the media,and the development of photography technology has brought the human society into the era of "machine replication" as Walter Benjamin said.Nowadays,under the media system dominated by many media,film,television,advertisement and animation are huge and comprehensive.Image culture emerges as the times require,and changes our life in an all-round way.The author is very interested in the lighting links in film production.Using the convenience of the subject,the author makes a preliminary study of the lighting links in film production,and is instantly attracted,as if opening the door of a fantastic world.The original theory of film lighting has been constantly refres hed by the development of media technology.The flourishing development of modern film and television media specialty has brought various possibilities to the industry.It has increasingly become a comprehensive subject combining theory with technology and coexisting multi-media and multi-disciplines.This paper is divided into five parts altogether,the first part is the introduction.This part mainly summarizes the academic value of film lighting research based on Nakashima Philosopher from the research background,research status and research significance.The first chapter mainly introduces the transformation of Tetsuya Nakashima from an advertising director to a film director,and then analyses his personal im age style as a film director.Chapter two is about the application of film lighting and characterization in Tetsuya Nakashima's films.It compares the three aspects of low-light,high-light and special light to study what efforts he has made in shaping characters and displaying characters' identity and connotation.Chapter three is about the application of film lighting and film narration in Tetsuya Nakashima's films,which are based on different styles of image perspectives and different sources of illumination.The fourth chapter is to analyze the characteristics of S himado's lighting from the aesthetic point of view and summarize the regular lighting experience.Under the goal of building a harmonious society,Chinese people pay more and more attention to cultural construction and dissemination.The society needs a large number of professional talents who are dynamic,theoretical and practical.This also provides policy support and tremendous momentum for the development of film and television talents in Colleges and universities.I hope that through the author's research and the analysis of the use of lighting in the works of director Tetsuya Nakashima,we can bring some help to the beginners of film lighting.
