The Value Cultivation Function Of Traditional Family Training Culture And Its Modern Enlightenment

Family training culture is an important part of Chinese traditional culture,and also an important means of cultivating self-cultivation,Dunhuang education,governing the family,dealing with the world and good-neighbourliness in ancient China.At the same time,through the theoretical interpretation of family education and the normative requirements of family members' behavior,family motto implants the values of a particular society into the hearts of the people,showing the excellent wisdom of moral education and folk governance in traditional Chinese society.For thousands of years,Chinese traditional family training culture has continuously conveyed Chinese values in the changes of the times.The spiritual blood of the defenders of national development shows its unique role and status in the cultivation of social values at the grass-roots level.Although the classical traditional family motto has a long history,it has become more and more brilliant after years of change.It still has important reference value for the construction of socialist core values and plays a positive role in cultivating and promoting socialist core values.From the standpoint of dialectical materialism and historical materialism,this paper mainly uses the methods of documentary research,historical research and interdisciplinary research.The paper is divided into four parts: The first part is an introduction,which introduces the origin and significance of the research,including theoretical and practical significance,and expounds the status quo,research ideas and methods of relevant research at home and abroad,as well as the key points,difficulties and innovations of the research.The second part mainly clarifies that values are the spiritual core of traditional family training culture.Firstly,the content and function of family training culture are discussed.From the content point of view,the family training culture has a long history,diverse forms and rich content.Filial piety,self-cultivation,farming and reading,family management,good-neighborliness and public interests are all involved.Functionally,it strengthens the family ethical relationship,shapes the ideal personality of the traditional society,and standardizes the behavior of family members.Secondly,it expounds the main manifestations of traditional values.The mainstream values of traditional society are dominated by Confucianism,so the values of benevolence,harmony,justice and honesty advocated by Confucianism become the values of traditional society.Finally,it further analyses why values become the essence of family training culture.The third part discusses the function and Realization of traditional family training culture on value cultivation.From the functional point of view,the main manifestations are: family training culture has three functions: value dissemination,value education and value practice.From the perspective of traditional family training culture,there are also three aspects to realize the cultivation of values: one is to infiltrate values in the essentials of self-cultivation;the other is to guide values in the norms of conduct;and the third is to show value principles in dealing with social affairs.The fourth part analyses the historical function and Modern Enlightenment of traditional family training culture.The historical role of traditional family training culture is that it promotes the folk infiltration of values;that it broadens the channels for the cultivation of values;that it lays a good foundation for personality shaping;that it is conducive to regulating the internal relations of families;and that it maintains the stability of society.The Modern Enlightenment of traditional family training culture on the cultivation of socialist core values is mainly manifested in: traditional family training culture provides rich resources for the cultivation of socialist core values;traditional family training culture provides effective methods for the cultivation of socialist core values;and strengthening the construction of family culture is an important way to promote the rooting of socialist core values.
