Self-confidence refers to the experience and identity of individuals after they perceive, evaluate their own abilities and social values.Learning engagement refers to the input of students in learning and the related events. This study investigates the relationship between middle school students' self-confidence and learning engagement, and uses campus psychological drama to interfere with the confidence of middle school students and promote their learning engagement. This study is divided into four parts.Firstly,a questionnaire on middle school students' self-confidence was developed. Then the self-designed middle school students confidence questionnaire and learning engagement scale were used to investigate 300 middle school students in shijiazhuang city and analyze the correlation between the two. Then, according to the survey results,24 subjects with high confidence and high learning engagement, high confidence and low learning engagement, low confidence and low learning engagement, and low confidence and high learning engagement were selected and randomly assigned to three groups, namely the experimental intervention group, the placebo group and the control group. Then, the experimental group received 8 times of psychological drama intervention on campus with confidence theme, and the placebo group received 8 times of psychological drama on campus without confidence theme, and the control group received no intervention treatment. Finally, confidence questionnaire and learning engagement scale were used to conduct post-test for the three groups of subjects, and the variance analysis of the change values was carried out by comparing with the pre-test data. The results show that:1.The middle school students' confidence scale includes three dimensions: physical appearance, resource management and time allocation. The overall and subscale internal consistency reliability was 0.858,0.866,0.818,0.832.The retest reliability of the total scale and subscale was 0.885,0.884,0.863 and 0.850.Confirmatory factor analysis was performed using Mplus: RMSEA=0.052,df=132,TLI=0.938,SRMR=0.045.The reliability and validity of the scale is good and can reach the psychological measurement standard.2.The confidence level of middle school students was significantly correlated with learning engagement(r=0.591***).Taking learning involvement as the dependent variable and each factor of middle school students' confidence level as the independent variable for regression analysis, physical appearance, resource management and time allocation have significant predictive effects on learning involvement. The change value of confidence level after the intervention was taken as the dependent variable, and the grouping of high and low confidence level and class group as the independent variable for two-factor variance analysis. The main effect of the experimental group was significant(F=12.020***).The change value of learning input level after the experimental intervention was taken as the dependent variable, and the grouping of high and low confidence level and the experimental group as the independent variable for two-factor variance analysis, and the main effect of the experimental group was significant(F=4.391*).The research shows that there is a significant positive correlation between the confidence and learning engagement of middle school students.Campus psychodrama activities can improve the self-confidence level of middle school students; At the same time, the intervention on self-confidence can effectively improve the learning engagement level of middle school students.
