Study On Urban Life In Tianjin During The Period Of Occupied Japan

Tianjin has experienced more than 600 years of history since ancient times as a transit port of sea and land.After the Opium War in 1840,China was opened by the powerful weapons of western countries,Tianjin became one of the important cities in the early period of China's communication with the world.Walking along the five avenues in Tianjin,we can see the architectural styles of different countries,and the scenes of the old Tianjin Concession can still be seen.During the period of national government control,Tianjin was highly valued by Nanjing and became an important administrative city directly under the central government.Its economy,technology and culture rank first in China and become the most important transportation hub and economic and Trade Center in the north.The prosperity and development of Tianjin,for a time,has become the popular talk of "looking at Tianjin in the north and Shanghai in the south".With the outbreak of the Huabei Incident,Tianjin's political status has become more and more important.Japanese imperialism,which intends to dominate Asia and even Europe,is full of greed and desire for Tianjin,a major northern town.After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War of July 7th Incident,Japan occupied the Beijing and Tianjin at the fastest speed,and began to rule and plunder this important city of modern China for eight years.In order to achieve its goal of fully controlling Tianjin,Japan set out to establish a regime,and revised the regulations from the aspects of people's livelihood,culture,ideology,etc.in an attempt to build Tianjin into its important rear base.This paper is based on this historical background,by revealing the various acts of Japan in Tianjin during the occupation period,profoundly revealing the characteristics of Tianjin urban life during the occupation period,and analyzing the impact of the Japanese puppet regime on Tianjin urban life during the occupation period.In addition,through the Japanese-puppet control during this period,we can further understand the heroic struggle of the Chinese Communist Party and the people against the Japanese aggressors in Tianjin.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature analysis,interdisciplinary research and case analysis,through the study of different disciplines,starting from historical materials,starting from economic,cultural,ideological history and other fields,trying to make historical materials precise and detailed.Through the analysis of Tianjin's urban problems during the occupied period,this paper introduces the characteristics of population,region,economy and culture of Tianjin in the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War,describes the basic situation of Tianjin's development accurately,and reflects the prosperity of Tianjin's urban style.Then the article introduces in detail the cities after the fall of Tianjin,the cruel oppression of the people,the rebellion of the traitor organizations and the peopleestablished in Japan,the new problems in urban life and the new impacts brought by them.Modern northern cities were represented by Beijing and Tianjin.During the period of Japanese domination,they were subject to Japanese blockade and limited historical data.Therefore,this paper is committed to the analysis and screening of cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary documents and archives,trying to restore the most authentic urban features and problems of Tianjin in the occupied period,to make some supplements and inspiration for the future study of urban history in the occupied areas,and to supplement the urban problems in the multi-dimensional fields of urban development,economy and people's livelihood in the occupied areas.Therefore,this study is also a supplement and demonstration to the fields of economic history,political history,cultural history and ideological history.
