A Research On The Reclusive Poetry And Reclusive Thought Of Huang Tingjian

Reclusive thought has a long pedigree in the Chinese intellectual history,and reclusive literature plays an important part in the Chinese classical literature. Reclusive thought and literature are always the focuses of academic research. As a representative poet of Song Dynasty,Huangtingjian makes lots of his works filled with reclusive thoughts.The introduction contains the review of research on Huang’s reclusive poems and thoughts,the definitions of reclusive thoughts and poems,the specialization of Huang’s reclusive poems.and the overview of reclusive literature before Song Dynasty. The first is the research status of Huang’s reclusive poems and thoughts. The second is the explanation of reclusive thoughts and poems. Reclusive thoughts mainly refers to those which express reclusion,landscape yearning and permanent seclusion. And which convey these thoughts,comment on hermits and their behaviors or include relevant allusions are called reclusive poems. The third is Huang’s reclusive poems. They are the works which reflect his reclusive thoughts that caused by his weariness of official career,preference for Buddhism and Taoism,indifference to fame and wealth and missing of his relatives. The third is to expound on the creative motivation of Huang’s reclusive poems from four parts. They the experiences of his relatives and friends and himself,politics,thoughts and local culture. The fourth is to demonstrate the innovation of Huang’s reclusive thoughts. The thoughts generate at an earlier age,and it is partial to specious seclusion,with a distinct contradiction between striving and retreating as well. The fifth is to discuss the influence on the promotion and transformation of Poetry of Song Dynasty by Huang’s reclusive poems and thoughts,the significance to the later literati.
