As a pair of commonly used adverbs of time with similar meanings,“cengjing”and “yijing” shares a lot similarities in syntactic structure,grammatical meaning and pragmatic rules.Overseas students are prone to be confused about these two word,which leading to mistakes.Based on sages' researches,this paper makes a comparative analysis of "once" and "already" from the syntactic,semantic and pragmatic perspectives.This paper probes into the types and causes of errors in the acquisition of "cengjing" and "yijing" by foreign students,and finally puts forward relevant teaching suggestions in view of the characteristics of "cengjing" and "yijing",in the hope of helping the teaching of "cengjing" and "yijing" in Chinese as a foreign language.This paper is organized into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the reason for choosing the topic,the ontological research status of "cengjing" and "yijing",the research status of TCSL,the source of corpus,and the theories and methods adopted in this paper.The second chapter makes a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences between "cengjing" and "yijing" from the syntactic,semantic and pragmatic levels and combines the example sentences.Syntactically,"chengjing" is often collocated with "le1",while "yijing" can be collocated with "le1" or "le2".At the same time,"yijing" can be directly followed by a quantitative phrase,while "cengjing" is generally not directly followed by a quantitative phrase.From the perspective of semantics,"chengjing" is mainly used to emphasize that the thing or situation mentioned in the sentence is an experience of thepast,and its influence and effect have no continuity."yijing" is used in a sentence to emphasize that what is said in the sentence has become a fact before a certain time.From the pragmatic perspective,"yijing" most for describing facts and objective statement or the events described in general is real,and "yijing" in addition to used to limit the predicate in the sentence,often also in the future event where the assumptions or speculation,with the speaker's subjective color,in a specific context,also conveys the speaker's subaudition.The third chapter on the basis of ontology research,analyzes the Beijing language and culture university HSK dynamic composition corpus output "cengjing" and "yijing",combined with the questionnaire of induction out foreign acquisition "cengjing" and "yijing" the types of errors are missing,false,false generation,four in the wrong sequence,the bias genetic diversity,on the one hand,influenced by "cengjing" and "yijing" the complexity of itself,on the other hand is also affected by the negative transfer and teachers teaching material.The fourth chapter,on the basis of the previous chapters,analyzes the characteristics of "cengjing" and "yijing" and the causes of errors in foreign students' acquisition of "cengjing" and "yijing",and puts forward corresponding Suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language from the four aspects of teaching methods,teachers,students and textbooks.The fifth chapter concludes this paper.
