As a proper none,"Hyperrealism" was called "Super realism" which is originated in the art school from the late 1960s to the early 1970s.And it is also used for the description of creation techniques of all kinds of extreme realistic image in the contemporary ear as well.Inspired by the complex situation in the era of image,based on many features of modern super realism genre such as cross-media,integration into popular culture and consumerism to show the change of visual culture,this paper is also included the scope of the extension of contemporary digital technology and image manipulation.Focused on the relationship between art and mass culture interaction from multiple fields including art,advertising,film and television,public landscape.It regards hyperrealism as a kind of image technique which closely related to the modern and post-modern visual paradigm and a variety of forms widely acted in the field of art and mass consumption culture to explore contemporary image.In view of the contemporary situation of hyperrealism art and image practice,this paper mainly adopts the research method of visual culture,starting from the technology,composition and social view of image,and not limited to its discussion at the range of art history.The hyperrealism is researched as a contemporary image culture mainly using Baudrillard's "Simulacra" theory and the theory of consumer society theory,Merleau-Ponty's modern art theory and phenomenology of perception,McLuhan's media theory,the theory of visual culture from John Berg,Nicholas Mirzoeff,and Zhou Xian etc.,we also can explore the popular culture and aesthetic value from exploring the contemporary image of hyperrealism technology and social perspective.And this paper tries to explore the vicissitude of contemporary visual culture from the conflict and blend of art and media technology,mass culture and consumerism as well as the effective way to develop visual culture in era of the image.
