Over the past 40 years of Reform and Opening,Achievements of China have attracted worldwide attention.The spread of Chinese and culture has been accelerating all over the world.The demand for learning Chinese is increasing all over the world.It has become an inevitable trend for the world to understand China through Chinese.HSK was formally promoted in China in 1990,during which a series of improvements and reforms were carried out.In 2009,the State implemented the New Chinese Proficiency Examination(HSK).Academic circles have made some achievements in the study of HSK,but there are few studies on the analysis and teaching of listening test for the new HSK 4.Therefore,during the internship in the International Students' Department of Sichuan International Studies University,the author tried to make a questionnaire analysis of the real HSK listening test by means of statistical analysis,example analysis,list analysis,investigation and research methods,and found out the problems of the foreign students in the HSK listening test 4,and explored the examination strategies of the new HSK listening 4,so as to meet the needs and requirements of the learners.In the introduction part,this paper expounds the research background,research purposes,research methods,literature review and related theories.Firstly,it briefly introduces the grades and requirements of the new HSK test and the types of listening tests at all levels.Then it combs and analyses the relevant vocabulary,question types,test points,questioning methods and topics of the new HSK 4 listening test,and summarizes the common words,relevant test points of various types of questions,and the corresponding topics and questioning methods of the new HSK 4 listening test.Secondly,a new HSK listening test and a questionnaire survey were conducted to find out the problems that foreign students are prone to occur in the HSK listening test.Finally,it elaborates on how to improve the examination strategies of foreign students' listening ability in the new HSK 4 from both teachers and students.
