The Study Of Four-character Fixed Words In Xin-he Dialect Of Hebei Province

In this paper,the four-character structure words of Hebei Xinhe dialect is taken as the research object(Xinhe locates in the south,Hebei province),and the Xinhe dialect is one of the Xingheng dialects in Hebei and Shandong official dialects.The dialect has a rich four-character structure words with strong dialect characteristics,which is very valuable for the research.However,the current research on the four-character structure words of Xinhe dialect is still rare,so this paper chooses this topic as the research object.The first chapter mainly describes the four-character structure words that has been collected.The second chapter mainly studies the Syllable combination and rhythm of the four-character structure words of Xinhe dialect;the third chapter studies the grammatical features of the four-character structure words of Xinhe dialect.The fourth chapter mainly studies the ways of semantic composition and characteristic of semantic composition of the four-character structure words of Xinhe dialect.Through the research of these parts,we draw the following conclusions:First,the four-character structure is very rich in Xinhe dialect,but we have collected 760four-character structures in Xinhe dialect.Second,the Xinhe dialect has six types according to its combination of syllable: ABCD,ABAC,AABB t,ABCC,ABCB,and AABC.the pleasing rhythm has been achieved by the use of vowel rhyme.Third,the composition of the four-character structure of Xinhe dialect is very complicated in terms of grammatical structure.It can be divided into two types according to morphemes: simple four-character structure and synthetic four-character structure.The synthetic four-character structure can be divided into three types: recombination,overlapping and addition.The recombination can be divided into six types: the joint formation,the biased-positive formation,the declarative formation,the dominant formation,the continuous predicate and supplementary.The overlapping has AABB,A with AB,ABCC and the like.The addition includes infix and suffix.According to the property of Xinhe dialect,four-character structure can be divided into noun,verb and adjective.They can be used in a sentence as subjects,predicates,objects,attributives,adverbials,complements,etc..Words with degree can modify the four-character structure.This is the grammatical characteristics of the four-character structure of the dialect.Fourth,the semantic structure types of the four-character structure of Xinhe dialect are divided into two types: single-layer structure and multi-layer semantic structure.The ways of semantic composition mainly include: metaphor,description,exaggeration,turning,and borrowing.The characteristics of Semantic expression include,vividness,ambiguity and symmetry.
