These years have seen the dramatic development of information technology influencing all walks of life, and education is no exception. The discrepancy of education and the scarcity of the qualified education urgently call for a new teaching model to bridge the gap. Therefore, the advent of MOOC integrating information technology into education has immediately gained significant attention. However, some issues emerge after the wide spread of MOOC.Factors like the lack of interaction, the vague online evaluation and the low rate of retention make researchers start to reflect over MOOC.Therefore, due to the advantages of online learning and traditional classroom learning, the blended teaching model will be the spotlight for future education development. This study aims to explore students' attitudes towards blended teaching based on MOOCs to provide further teaching and learning suggestions for teachers and learners who tend to use this teaching mode in the future. The participants of the study were290 English major sophomore students in Hebei province.A mixed method including quantitative and qualitative method was used. And at the end of the semester,we collected and analyzed students' questionnaires and reports to obtain the integrated understanding of students' attitudes including affective attitude, cognitive attitude and behavioral attitude. The following are the main findings.Firstly, students are satisfied with the blended teaching both in online classes and offline classes learning.Secondly, students suppose that network quality, new words and learning autonomy are the main difficulties in their learning under the blended teaching model.Besides, after a semester's learning, students believe that their learning autonomy ability and language competence have improved.Lastly, when confronting difficulties in blended learning, students are prone to find ways to tackle them instead of ignoring the difficulties.Drawing on the findings and the analyses of the data, there are two main implications: First, there are some difficulties for students in online learning, like newwords and learning autonomy among which learning autonomy plays a vital role. Therefore,at the beginning of the semester some advice for online learning should be provided. Moreover, teachers' supervision on the students' online learning outcomes will also foster students to learn.Second, studying together with classmates to some extent can improve students' learning autonomy ability and their cooperative ability.
