With the deepening of education reform,vocational education has been paid more and more attention by the state.In order to improve the competitiveness of vocational high school talents,it is necessary to continuously increase the cultivation of vocational high school students' English literacy.Therefore,English is one of the key courses in vocational high school education,and improving students' English level and learning interest is the top priority of its English teaching task.However,because vocational high schools not only require students to have a good level of cultural courses,but also have a very high demand for future career-oriented professional knowledge teaching,students' English level is often not well improved,and classroom teaching is often in the traditional teacher-centered teaching mode.With the development of society,the reform of education in our country is also constantly developing,and the blended learning of traditional teaching and various media technologies is also getting more and more attention.The application of mixed learning in English teaching activities can not only ensure the quality of students' English learning and improve their learning level,but also increase the interest and vividness of students' English learning,which is undoubtedly a teaching method worthy of promotion.This research attempts to design a blended learning method suitable for vocational high school English teaching based on the previous research experience at home and abroad,and to study the feasibility of this research design in combination with practice,with the aim of finding an effective teaching method and providing some reference for vocational high school English teaching.The author takes all the students in Class 1 of Class 2018 of Air Force Youth Aviation School as the research object,conducts an experimental study that lasted for one year,and tries to answer the following questions through the experimental study:(1)How does the application of blended learning in vocational high school English teaching affect students' interest in English learning?(2)How does the application of blended learning in vocational high school English teaching affect students' English learning results?The results show that the application of blended learning in the English teaching of air force aviation university's junior aviation school students is feasible and can effectively improve students' interest in learning English and their English scores.Furthermore,it can be inferred that mixed learning can play a positive role in vocational high school English teaching activities,and blended learning can effectively improve vocational high school students' English level and their interest in learning English.So,how to effectively apply mixed learning to English teaching of vocational high school students is a challenge currently faced by teachers.First of all,teachers should recognize the advanced nature of blended learning and the importance of blended learning to teaching,strengthen theoretical knowledge learning and also pay attention to the accumulation of mixed learning practice,improve the application ability of blended learning and increase students' effective learning,which has achieved better teaching results.At the end of the article,the author pointed out the shortcomings in this study and put forward relevant suggestions for future research.
