The Influence Of Parent-child Triangulation On Friendship Quality Among College Student:Mediating Role Of Self-differentiation And Security

With the development of social tools,individual interpersonal relationships can more and more reflect the individual's social adaptability.As an important indicator to measure the relationship of individual friendship,friendship quality has deep research significance.As we all know,the family factor is accompanied by the growth experience of the individual's life,and the parental marriage conflict is an indelible factor in the early growth of the individual.Individuals' perceptions and behavioral manifestations in the face of parental marital conflicts will become the reference model for individuals to face a larger social environment in the later period,and one of them is called parent-child triangle relationship.Parent-child triangle relationship refers to the three-person relationship of “father-child-mother” when the parents are in conflict,the children are actively or passively involved in it to reduce or transfer anxiety and tension.In addition,previous research theories found that parental marital conflict not only forms a parent-child triangle relationship,but also directly affects the individual's self-differentiation,while at the same time giving the individual a sense of security crisis,which in turn affects the individual's social adaptability,including Affected the individual's friendship.Self-differentiation refers to the ability of an individual to balance emotions and reason and to grasp the distance between self and others.The sense of security refers to the individual's premonition to the possible physical or psychological dangers or risks and the strong/incapable feelings in dealing with the relevant situation.This study will use the questionnaire method to explore the role of self-differentiation and security in the relationship between parent-child triangle and friendship quality.Research indicates:1.There is no significant gender difference in parent-child triangulation,but there are significant gender differences in the three dimensions.In the parental performance dimension,the male student score is significantly higher than the female student score;in the child's feeling,the female student score is significantly higher than the male student score;In terms of children's performance,girls scored significantly higher than boys' scores.There is no significant difference in parent-child triangulation between whether a parent is divorced,whether he is only a child,and whether his parents have the same academic qualifications.2.There is a significant gender difference in the quality of friendship and its dimensions,and the scores of girls are significantly higher than those of boys.There is a significant grade difference in the quality of friendship.There is no significant difference in the quality of friendship between whether a parent is divorced or not.3.There is no significant gender difference in self-differentiation,but there are significant gender differences in the emotional severance dimension.The scores of boys are significantly higher than those of girls.Self-differentiation does not have significant divergence in whether or not parents are divorced,but the emotional response dimension has significant differences in whether parents are divorced.Parental divorced students score significantly higher than parents divorced students.There is a significant difference in self-differentiation at the grade level,and there is no significant difference in whether or not it is unique.4.There is a significant gender difference in the sense of security.There is a significant gender difference in the dimension of interpersonal security.The scores of girls are significantly higher than those of boys.There is no significant difference in the sense of security between parents and divorce.There is no significant difference in the sense of security between the only one and the grade.5.There is a significant correlation between parent-child triangle relationship,selfdifferentiation,security and friendship quality.Besides,the parent-child relationship can significantly predict the quality of friendship,and the sense of security can significantly predict the quality of friendship.6.Self-differentiation and security play a mediating role in the influence of parent-child relationship on the quality of friendship.The path is “parent-child triangulation?selfdifferentiation?security?friendship quality”.
