The Chinese classics are vast,Guanzi is one of the most important books of Pre-Chin philosophers.There are 86 catalogues in Guanzi today.Ten of them are scattered and lost.And "Fengshan Chapter" has also been lost.When Yin Zhizhang wrote a note on Guan Zi,he supplemented it with Guan Zhong's remarks in "Fengshan Chapter of Shiji".Such 86 chapters have lost 11 chapters.Since the Tang Dynasty,people have been collecting Guanzi.It is of great significance for the preservation of classics and the study of the history of academic thought in the Pre-Qin Dynasty to carry out the work of collecting and losing Guanzi and restore the early appearance of Guanzi as far as possible.Chapter ? discusses the process of spreading and dispersing of Guanzi,and the problems existing in the contents and texts of Guanzi,which is the starting point of compiling Guanzi.By dividing the process of spreading and losing Guanzi into three periods at two time points: 1.Before Liu Xiang proofread the book,Guanzi circulated in the form of several single documents;2.After Liu Xiang proofread the book,Guanzi had a final edition of 86 articles,from which Guanzi was copied and circulated in the form of 86 final editions,and gradually lost in the process of spreading;3.Until Song Dynasty,With the maturity of engraving and printing,a large number of books have been published,and the Song edition Guanzi has been circulated to the present day.The main text of Guanzi is no longer lost,and the process of Guanzi's disappearance is over.According to the division of the above time nodes,the work of compiling Guanzi can be carried out pertinently.Analyzing the problems existing in the internal contents and texts of Guanzi can guide us to discover the missing contents of Guanzi from today's texts.Chapter ? is mainly about the achievements of Guanzi,which is lost in the collection of ancient annotations,classified books,political books and other documents.This paper makes a textual research on the lost achievements of Yan Kejun,Gu Guanguang,Wang Liqi and Gong Yueguo.On the basis of predecessors,these documents are further used to dig out the lost articles of Guanzi.Chapter ? mainly discusses the gains and losses of Guanzi's internal exudative compilation.Guanzi is confused with its internal contents and texts,so it is possible that the lost texts have been mixed into other texts.Zhang Peiguan,Shi Yican,Li Mian and others compiled what they thought was lost from other chapters of Guanzi.This chapter makes a comment and evaluation on this method and content.Chapter ? mainly collects the lost documents by using the unearthed documents to restore the appearance of the early texts of Guanzi.Wang Bing in Yinqueshan Han bamboo slips and Guan Zhong in Tsinghua bamboo slips are probably the lost pieces of Guan Zi that Liu Xiang has never seen before.Through the above three methods,the lost articles in Guanzi can be partly restored,and some lost articles in Guanzi can not be ascertained,which is of great significance for restoring the original appearance of Guanzi.However,due to the limited information available,the work of compiling lost Guanzi still needs to be further developed.The continuous excavation of unearthed documents will be the best entry point for later compilation of lost Guanzi.The innovation of this paper lies mainly in the examination and comment on the lost achievements of Guan Zi in the past dynasties,which makes the scattered and mixed collection achievements of the predecessors collated,distinguished and positioned systematically,affirms the achievements and status of the predecessors in Guan Zi's collection,and tries to correct the errors and deficiencies in it;digs on the basis of the predecessors,and makes ancient annotations.A number of lost articles of Guanzi were collected in classified books and political books,and the newly discovered documents were used to compile Guanzi,and new achievements were made in compiling Guanzi.
