A Discussion Of "Literature" And "History"

As a relatively self-contained concept in literary theory,"literary history writing" has become a hot topic in academic circles.It has been nearly 60 years since the writing of the history of Chinese contemporary literature began around the 1960 s.In this "reincarnation" years,hundreds of Chinese contemporary literature history works came out,experienced ups and downs,some literature history works stood out,accordingly,the study of literature history of academic papers and monographs pouring in,occupies a certain position in the academic research field of Chinese contemporary literature.In this paper,the author attempts to study and analyze the compilation and writing strategies of historical works on the basis of the existing research on the history of contemporary literature,so as to explore the literary historical views and ideological features hidden behind the compilation and writing strategies of literary historians.This paper is mainly divided into three parts.The first chapter classifies the current literary history from the perspective of its function and basic form.First,the objective historical facts and the history of literature as a branch of history.This is exactly what is relatively deficient in the writing of contemporary Chinese literary history.As an objective historical fact,literary history is the basis of literary history text and literary history theory research.Literary history text is a writing practice based on the theory of literary history.The theoretical study of literary history is the analysis,research and reflection on the existing works of literary history,and provides guiding opinions for the writing of literary history in the future.Second is the main function of education as a textbook of literary history.The author believes that literary history textbooks,focuses on the writers and their works can appear as a specific branch of literary history in the university classroom,and the construction of students’ literary historiography,the formation of the academic thinking and thinking ability,need special "literature" in the historical course of opening,also needs to have special literature works or works on the difference between a review of the literature materials.The third is the literary history of academic writing with the purpose of writing books.In particular,this kind of literature history should reproduce and restore the development of literature history as much as possible with an attitude of "writing history",so as to analyze and summarize the development law of literature and present certain ideological characteristicsThe second chapter,from the dialectical perspective of literary research and historical investigation,reveals that the contemporary literary history with different writing paradigms is actually closely related to the historical view of literature supported by historical writers in writing literary history.First of all,this paper takes "literariness" and "classical writing" as the entry point to demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of this writing style."Classic" from the viewpoint of the literariness of literary history writing wrong,but,now the biggest problem facing the contemporary literature is due to too much importance to the writer works in the position in Chinese contemporary literature history,directly led to the events of literary history and literary field for the development of relevant historical events of marginalization,which makes the writing of literary history general lack of history and presence,lacking historical value.Secondly,it mainly demonstrates that in the writing of Chinese contemporary literary history,historians’ pursuit of literary historical facts and their "efforts" to return to the literary scene are commendable and very important.Unfortunately,the Chinese contemporary literature writings,although there is also a time for clues,but these words about the time is not actually very strong ideological orientation,rather than simply select a time period,then one by one,the writer works string on the time chain,literature ideological trend and literary history events are often one has brought.Even when controversy is involved,it is often confined to small circles.It is rare and lonely to be a writer of literary history who can stand on the scene of literary history and talk with history.In addition,from the perspective of "cultural archaeology",taking the history of contemporary Chinese literature by Hong-Zicheng and the course of contemporary Chinese literature by Chen-Sihe as examples,this paper analyzes the subtleties of the presentation effects of the two writing strategies.To a certain extent,Chen-Sihe’s literary history expression style which emphasizes on text and theme interpretation is complementary to Hong-Zicheng’s writing strategy of returning to the historical site.The third chapter,discuss about to return to the "literature" in the 80 s,is the author specially introduced in the history of literature writing practices,the current writing of literary history,the prevalent problems of "a history of heavy text light",and return to the meaning of "literature" in the 80 s was expanded,here it is not just in the "80 s" literature as the research object of literary subject,in fact,it is in the field of literature as regression and historical context as reappearance and literature historical facts as possible implementation has a profound significance.
